4. Data Collection on Our Website
Cookies
Some of our web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server Log Files
On our web server in the data center, we automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us when you visit our pages. This information includes:
• Browser type and version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not combined with data from other sources.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 Section 1 lit. b of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact Form
If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form at https://www.hejrockit-werbeagentur.com/ or by email to hej@hejrockit.com we will store the information you provide in the inquiry form or email—including the contact information you provide there—for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

The processing of data entered in the contact form or via email is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 Section 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The lawfulness of data processing operations carried out prior to revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter in the contact form or via email will remain with us until you request that we delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.

Processing of Data (Customer and Contract Data)
We collect, process, and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, substance, or modification of the legal relationship (master data). This is done on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process, and use personal data regarding the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user for it.

The customer data collected will be deleted upon completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data Transfer Upon Conclusion of a Contract
We transfer personal data to third parties only if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract, such as to companies responsible for delivering the goods or to the financial institution entrusted with processing payments. No further transfer of data takes place, or only if you have expressly consented to such transfer. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 Section 1 lit. b of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Privacy Notice for the Application Process
We process applicants’ data solely for the purpose of and within the scope of the application process, in accordance with current legal requirements. The processing of applicant data is carried out to fulfill our (pre)contractual obligations within the scope of the application process pursuant to Article 6 Section 1 lit. b and Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of the GDPR, as well as § 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), insofar as data processing becomes necessary for us, for example, in the context of legal proceedings.

The application process requires that applicants voluntarily provide us with their application information. The necessary application information is specified in the job descriptions. Generally, this includes personal information, mailing address, and contact information, as well as the documents required for the application, such as a cover letter, resume, and, if applicable, certificates. In addition, applicants may voluntarily submit additional information.

By submitting their application to us, applicants consent to the processing of this data for the purposes of the application process in accordance with the manner and scope set forth in this Privacy Policy.
To the extent that special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 Section 1 of the GDPR are voluntarily provided as part of the application process, such data will also be processed in accordance with Article 9 Section 2 lit. b of the GDPR (e.g., health-related data, such as severe disability status or ethnic origin). If, as part of the application process, special categories of personal data as defined in Article 9 Section 1of the GDPR are requested from applicants, their processing is additionally based on Article Article 9 Section 2 lit. a of the GDPR (e.g., health data, if such data is necessary for the performance of the job, such as for truck drivers).

However, if you are submitting your application via email, please note that emails are generally not sent in encrypted form, and applicants must ensure encryption themselves. For technical reasons, we cannot assume any responsibility for the transmission of your application between the sender and our server, and therefore recommend that you submit your application by mail.

The data provided by applicants may be further processed by us for the purposes of future employment in the event that the application is successful. If the application for a job opening is unsuccessful, the applicants’ data will be deleted after a period of six months has elapsed, so that we can respond to any follow-up questions regarding the application and fulfill our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act. Applicants’ data will also be deleted if an applicant withdraws their application.

5. Social Media
Social Media Presences
We maintain online presences on social networks and platforms to provide information about our services and to communicate with customers, prospective customers, and users who are active there. When you access these social media presences, the terms and conditions and data processing policies of the respective networks and platforms apply.
Unless otherwise specified in our Privacy Policy, we process users’ data only when they communicate with us within these social networks and platforms—for example, by posting on our social media profiles or sending us messages.

Facebook Plugins (Like & Share Buttons)
Our pages include plugins from the social network Facebook, provided by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here.
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This informs Facebook that you have visited our site using your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. Please note that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook’s Privacy Policy at the following link.

If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account.

Instagram Plugin
Our website incorporates features from the Instagram service. These features are provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.

If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content on our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. Please note that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how Instagram uses it.

For more information on this, please see Instagram’s Privacy Policy.

Google+ Plugin
Our pages use features from Google+. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Collection and Sharing of Information: You can use the Google+ button to share information worldwide. Through the Google+ button, you and other users receive personalized content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the fact that you clicked the +1 button for a piece of content and information about the page you were viewing when you clicked +1. Your +1s may appear as recommendations alongside your profile name and photo in Google services—such as in search results or on your Google Profile—or in other places on websites and in ads across the web.

Google collects information about your +1 activity to improve Google services for you and others. To use the Google+ button, you need a public Google profile that is visible worldwide and must include at least the name you selected for the profile. This name is used across all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity associated with your Google profile may be visible to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you.

Use of the Collected Information: In addition to the purposes described above, the information you provide will be used in accordance with Google’s applicable privacy policies. Google may publish aggregated statistics about users’ +1 activity or share them with users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers, or affiliated websites.

6. Analytics Tools and Advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies.” These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

Google Analytics cookies are stored in accordance with Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

IP Anonymization
We have enabled the IP anonymization feature on this website. As a result, Google truncates your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link.

Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google’s Privacy Policy

Data Processing on Behalf of a Client
We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities regarding the use of Google Analytics.

Demographic Features in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that provide information about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data is derived from Google’s interest-based advertising and from visitor data provided by third parties. This data cannot be associated with any specific individual. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google Account or generally opt out of having your data collected by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objecting to Data Collection.”

Google-Tag-Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags through a single interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been performed at the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This feature allows you to link the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This way, interest-based, personalized ads—tailored to you based on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., a cell phone)—can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., a tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. This allows the same personalized ads to be displayed on any device where you sign in with your Google Account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device advertising.

You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; to do so, follow this link.
The consolidation of collected data in your Google account is exclusively based on your consent, which you can give or withdraw with Google (Article 6 Section 1 lit. a of GDPR ). For data collection processes that are not consolidated in your Google account (e.g., because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the consolidation), the data collection is based on Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the web browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across AdWords customers’ websites. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out by easily disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie in your web browser’s user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its web offering and its advertising.
More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block cookies in certain cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to verify whether data entry on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is performed by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the website visitor’s behavior based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor accesses the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various pieces of information (e.g., IP address, the length of time the visitor spends on the website, or the user’s mouse movements). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web services from abusive automated crawling and SPAM.
Further information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s Privacy Policy can be found at the following link.

Use of SalesViewer® Technology
On this website, data is collected and stored for marketing, market research, and optimization purposes using SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH, based on the legitimate interests of the website operator (Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR).
A JavaScript-based code is used for this purpose to collect company-related data and its corresponding use. The data collected with this technology is encrypted using a non-reversible one-way function (known as hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymized and is not used to personally identify visitors to this website.
Data stored within the scope of SalesViewer will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no legal retention obligations preventing deletion.
You may object to the data collection and storage at any time with effect for the future by clicking this link https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out to prevent future tracking by SalesViewer® within this website. An opt-out cookie for this website will be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again.

7. Newsletter
Newsletter Information
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we need your email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No other data is collected, or is collected only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively to send the requested information and do not share it with third parties.
The processing of data entered into the newsletter sign-up form is based solely on your consent (Article 6 Section 1 lit. a of GDPR). You may revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, at any time—for example, via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by this revocation.

We will store the data you have provided to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter until you unsubscribe, at which point it will be deleted. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the members-only area) remains unaffected by this.

a) Newsletter rapidmail

If you subscribe to our company’s newsletter, the data entered in the respective form will be transmitted to the data controller. Signing up for our newsletter is done via a so-called double opt-in process. This means that after signing up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no one can sign up using someone else’s email address. When you sign up for the newsletter, the user’s IP address, as well as the date and time of registration, are stored. This is done to prevent misuse of the services or the data subject’s email address. The data is not disclosed to third parties. An exception applies if there is a legal obligation to disclose the data. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The data subject may cancel their subscription to the newsletter at any time. Likewise, consent to the storage of personal data may be revoked at any time. A link for this purpose is included in every newsletter. The legal basis for processing the data following the user’s subscription to the newsletter is Article 6 Section 1 lit. a of GDPR, provided the user has given consent. The legal basis for sending the newsletter following the sale of goods or services is § 7 Section 3 of the UWG.

b) Use of rapidmail
Description and purpose: We use rapidmail to send newsletters. The service provider is rapidmail GmbH, Wentzingerstraße 21, 79106 Freiburg, Germany. rapidmail is used to organize and analyze the distribution of newsletters, among other things. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter is stored on rapidmail’s servers in Germany. If you do not wish for your usage to be analyzed by rapidmail, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on our website. For analysis purposes, emails sent via rapidmail contain a “tracking pixel” that connects to rapidmail’s servers when the email is opened. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened. Furthermore, rapidmail enables us to determine whether and which links within the newsletter message are clicked. All links in the email are “tracking links” that allow your clicks to be counted. Depending on the font used to design the newsletter, a connection to external servers—such as Google Fonts—may be established.

Legal basis: The legal basis for the data processing is Article 6 Section 1 lit. a of GDPR .

Recipient: The recipient of the data is rapidmail GmbH.

Transfer to third countries: Data is not transferred to third countries.

Duration: Data stored by us based on your consent for newsletter purposes will be retained until you unsubscribe; upon cancellation, the data will be deleted from both our servers and the servers of rapidmail. Data stored for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the member area) remains unaffected by this.

Right of revocation: You have the right to revoke your consent to data processing at any time, with effect for the future. The lawfulness of data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

For more information, please refer to the CleverReach privacy policy.

We have entered into an agreement with CleverReach in which we obligate CleverReach to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties.

8. Plugins and Tools
Google Maps
This page uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

Google Maps is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online services and to make the locations we list on the website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR.

Facebook Pixel
For conversion tracking, our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).

However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. As the site operator, we have no influence over this use of data.

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure a consistent display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This allows Google to learn that our website was accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f of GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
